1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding SfwBot to your Discord server or accessing our web dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Discord's Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

SfwBot is an AI-powered content moderation bot that:

• Automatically detects and removes NSFW content using machine learning
• Maintains global and local blacklists of inappropriate images
• Provides customizable whitelists for trusted users, channels, and images
• Offers a web dashboard for configuration and monitoring

The Service is provided free of charge.

3. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country)
• Have a valid Discord account in good standing
• Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the Service
• Submit false or malicious reports
• Test the bot's detection capabilities with illegal content
• Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Service
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or any applicable laws

5. AI Detection Disclaimer

Important Notice:

• SfwBot uses AI/machine learning with approximately 98.56% accuracy on test data
• False positives and false negatives may occur
• The bot is a tool to assist moderation, not a replacement for human moderators
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in detecting inappropriate content
• Server administrators are responsible for final moderation decisions

6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content posted in your Discord server. By using SfwBot, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process images for NSFW detection
• Generate perceptual hashes for blacklist/whitelist matching
• Store image URLs temporarily for reporting purposes
• Use reported images for AI model training (only with your explicit consent)

SfwBot's code, AI models, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time, and reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Service at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is free to use. You use it at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Content moderation decisions made by the bot
• Data loss or server issues
• Discord API downtime or changes
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

9. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing SfwBot from your Discord server or logging out of the web dashboard.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with Discord and PostHog analytics. We are not responsible for third-party services or their terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute, please contact us first through our Discord Support Server to attempt informal resolution.

14. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SfwBot. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
